Only three and half months after the release of The Transformers in the theaters over last summer, the DVD was released today! I remember a time when you had to wait like a year before something came out on DVD. I guess they are trying to strike while the iron is still hot! I bought my DVD at Target and I’m glad I did. Only at Target could you get the exclusive DVD 2-disc set case that actually transforms into Optimus Prime! There were other stores with exclusive DVDs but Target had the best one. I’ve been a fan of the Transformers from when I was a kid growing up in the 80’s. They were the coolest toys ever! You got two toys in one! Whenever I got one of the toys it was always one of the Decepticons… because they all tranformed in the cooler things, like a gun, or tape recorder, or a jet fighter! The Autobots… they just transformed into cars.. *yawn*. Anyway, check out some pics I took of the DVD case.. it’s so cool how it transforms into a 15″ tall likeness of the Autobot leader, Optimus Prime!

Yeah guys.. it’s really cool packaging. I wish I had an HD TV to watch this on though but even if I did, I would of bought this DVD package anyway just for the transforming case!

Nice! How was the film? Too bad they didn’t offer you big $ for your Decepticon screensaver. It could have been packaged on the DVD as the computer extras!

Hey YakYak, yeah, I’ll have my Decepticon screensaver up again one of these days for people to download. I must of made that thing over 5 years ago.
