Bring back Planter’s Cheez Balls

When I was growing up one of my favorite snacks was Planter’s Cheez Balls. They weren’t like those cheap version cheeseballs you see at the grocery stores these days. These were bite size tasty cheese explosions that you could never have enough of. Now the sad thing is that they have been discontinued by the company that made them…

I have no idea why they discontinued them, they were like the best tasting snack. I always liked how fresh they were when you opened up the metal can lid. I found a site that had a forum thread about Planter’s Cheez Balls and one of the last comments mentioned a phone number you can call to voice your opinion on getting Cheez Balls back on the shelves. Yes, I called the number. I guess like others in the thread I just want that snack back, like one blog said, “It’s America’s Perfect Snack Food!”

I don’t know why they keep taking away the food that we grew up on and had our fondest memories while we ate them. They did the same thing with the McRib.. but let’s keep that for another blog entry and I can’t wait to tell you how the screwed up the Quiznos Steakhouse Beef Dip!
